Function
This system reduces gas pressure without hydrate formation at pressure drops. It is normally used at daughter stations for decanting gas from a CNG trailer for further compression or industrial use.

How it Works
The CNG must be heated to above the dew point temperature before the pressure is reduced, this is achieved by using pressure tested shell and tube heat exchangers
